Betty's Pies opened in 1956. Jan remembers getting pies with her grandparents. 

A "1000-footer" enters the Two Harbors Iron Ore Docks at Agate Bay. The first dock was built in 1883. These ships arrive and leave daily with 80,000 tons of taconite ore bound for Duluth.
