A second boat carries you along Lake Josephine to the Grinnell Glacier trail head. Then a 3 mile hike. 1913 Glacier Park Lodge as seen from the East Glacier train station. Guests walk along a flower garden to the hotel entrance. Trains still arrive here.  Glacier Park Lodge  Glacier Park Lodge  Glacier Park Lodge  Glacier Park Lodge Veranda St. Mary Lake Hidden Lake trail at Logan Pass Grizzly Bear Mountain Goat Logan Pass is at the top of the Going to the Sun Road. The pass provides an excellent vantage point to view wildlife. We saw a Grizzly Bear on a nearby trail and a Mountain Goat on the roof of the visitor center. There are 33 Red Buses in Glacier Park. Built in 1939, the buses were refurbished in 2000 by putting the original body onto Ford F350 truck chassis.
