Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada

Grassy prairies meet the mountains as we arrive at the park.

Upper Waterton Lake

Our "backyard" at the RV site is a field full of wild rose bushes, Alberta's provincial (state) flower. Horses and cows graze nearby. Rather an idyllic spot!

A new plant, purchased in the last town, to replace the ones eaten by the elk :)

Crooked Creek campground is named after the water that flows through it. Kids and adults have been swimming and wading in it to cool off from the temps in the upper 70รข€™s.

View to the south from our campsite.
