Mackinac Bridge and our campground

The Mackinac Bridge spans the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan. Opened in 1957. Sadly, we struck a black bear who bolted onto the road on the way here.

This place has 2,000 campsites and cabins, store, restaurant, bike rentals, pool, beach, mini-golf, game-room, and playgrounds. It's easy to loose your way and the hundreds of campfires each night give it a woodsy ambiance like no other place.
