Salmon Shores, Olympia WA

The setting was pretty but the park was rough, to say the least. We made our reservation months in advance and were lucky to have been given the only site that wasn’t being lived in by a permanent resident.

Dock right on Black Lake. The scenery was beautiful.

Full-time residents were jammed into the park.

Lyle did an amazing job fitting us into the site they gave us. It was on such a hill that we almost scraped the trailer on the bed of the truck trying to hitch up on the way out.
