Astoria Bridge to Cape Disappointment

Cape Disappointment State Park located in Ilwaco, Washington.

The Columbia Bar is the hazardous entrance to the Columbia River. We hiked the steep 0.75 mile trail to the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse.

The Long Beach Peninsula' beach is 28 miles long, claimed to be the longest beach in the United States and the world's longest drivable beach, however is second to Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh (75 miles).

We've never really liked our couch, it's uncomfortable to sit on and the sleeper bed is a "short twin" too small for an adult.

Out with the old couch.

Lyle had to remove the 5th wheel hitch and load our old couch into the truck. We drove to several towns before we found a thrift store that would take it off our hands.

The RV park rents crab pots and clam rakes so you can catch your own dinner, but we bought ours off the dock.
