Vancouver, British Columbia

Arrived in Vancouver after crossing the border

Bears may be seen near the trash area in the RV Park.

Like all RV parks, this one is close to the highway and train tracks. Out trailer shakes when the train goes by, but it's surrounded by woods and a lake.
The park works with overseas tours and there at least 150 class C rental units that come and go every day. The park is the end or beginning of the Canada parks tour route.

You may think your city has a homeless problem... but believe me you don't.

We rode our bikes across the Burrard Street bridge to Kitsalano Beach Park.

Vancouver used to be named Granville until the late 1800's.  This quirky island kept the name and has a large public market, cute shops, restaurants, and ferry service to the downtown area.

Yummm

It seems there are plenty to choose from!

This concrete plant is on the island. The trucks and silos are painted in whimsical colors.

Waiting for the ferry

The pink painting across the water illustrates the local bird life.
