Blue River, British Columbia

We're headed to Jasper National Park. Blue River is a stop along the way for all the rental RVs. It's a tiny town with no real services other than tourism. It's also home to the Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Resort. Very posh log "chalets", spa, and gourmet restaurant on Eleanor Lake. World-renowned heli-skiing. It would be fun to see this area in the wintertime.

We didn't go on the river safari but did have lunch at their floating restaurant.

So far we have seen 1 moose and one black bear with a cub. We wear our bells and carry our spray, just in case.

Nice campsite. Somehow we managed to get the firewood to burn, in spite of the frequent rain showers.
